This car has been in my family since it was brand new! I am the second owner (my mother was the first) and since it has stayed in the family I have all the service records in the glove box! The car was garaged up until 2008 and has always been meticulously maintained inside and out!
Pros:
Swapped in a superior 3.5L V6 motor from a 2002 Intrepid with 140k on it after the 2.7L threw a rod from water pump failure which is a common 2.7 problem (Info for 2.7 owners - DodgeIntrepid.Net Forums - Dodge Intrepid, Concorde, 300m and Eagle Vision chat)(car had 68,295 miles on it when motor was replaced)
Heat works great!
Did I mention this thing gets around amazing in snow? Well it does! You have to try really hard to make it slide around or lose traction in the white stuff.
The Timing belt, water pump, spark plugs, and air filter were replaced about 3,000 miles ago!
The body, transmission, and the rest of the vehicle have about 76,900 miles on it!
The interior is very clean and so is the body! Engine is also clean!
Oil was changed 1,000 miles ago. The power steering fluid and coolant were replaced about 5,000 miles ago.
Windows were tinted at auto expressions last summer with 20% tint all around!
Car also received a new steering rack and inner tie rod bushings last summer as well!
Also has a brand new shifter cable that was installed just a few weeks ago!
Car comes with several spare parts including a set of gray door panels, one R/T rim with a tire (was gonna get a full set), extra set of tail lights, hubcaps (has alloys on it currently), dash bezel, 2 other gauge clusters (one is from a 300m and has chrome rings and functions great, the other is a 150 mph cluster out of a police intrepid), and a factory radio with all the speakers and tweeters. Also have a spare bumper with fog lights. R/T headrests and SRT-6 badges are also included!
Tires have around 7/32 of tread on them!
Car also has new front speakers and tweeters added and is wired for subs. I can throw in a MTX amp and 15" sub if desired. If not wanted I can remove all the wiring.
Cons:
Front door locks make some noise.
Idle is a little rough at times.
Other than that this car is great!
This car is my dd so the miles will continue to go up.
