Hate to do this, but I need money to cover moving expenses. Most people know of the car already. If not, check out my build thread. Stereo may or may not be included in sale. Depends how the offers look. I've got over 120 hours into this car building it the way I want and ungodly amounts of money. PM me with any offers or questions. I'd like to see about $3800 for it but I'm kinda flexible. Custom hood available at an extra cost...the only one like it. Located in NE PA. Will need a trailer to move it, although it does run and drive. Mod list is longer than I'd like to post so PM me if you want an idea what all is in there. Many people have ridden in this car...she's no joke. Hate to sell...don't want to sell...and any retarded offers or negative comments need not be posted.

Thanks Brian. Yeah, it's pretty sad. I've got so many parts on and for this thing...it just sucks. I didn't even install the roof rails or SE wing yet.

To give you an idea what's with the car...

    Engine:

97 L36 block, 99 L67 heads slightly ported, HS 1.6 roller rockers, XP cam, Crow 105# springs, JP single roller timing chain, Gen V, ZZP/Intense MPS with 3.0, 3.2, and 3.4 pulleys, Lucas 42.5 injectors, WBS full stack IC, Bonnie coil setup, Powerbond 8 rib, Bonnie alternator, ZZP IC pump controller, N* throttle body, Aeroforce wideband, SLP headers, GMPP exhaust, and I'm sure there's other stuff

    Trans:

Getrag 284 5 speed, machined flywheel (needs to be machined thinner yet), GM 4T60e axles, modified harness (needs to be cleaned up,) SPEC Stage 3 clutch

    Interior:

Modified stock cluster to remove PRND321, HUD pod with dual Aeroforce, HUMOUNT "Grand Prix GT" with JVC KD-AVX77 deck, Massive Audio Stage III components up front, Massive Audio LX4 and LX69 in rear, JL Audio 300/4 for interior speakers, (2) JL Audio 12w6v2 subwoofers in sealed box, JL Audio 1000/1v2 for subwoofers, auto dimming rear view mirror with compass, modified stock shifter trim for 5 speed...and I'm sure there's more

    Exterior:

Custom hood (available separate,) SE roof rails, SE trunklid with spoiler, retrofits (not completed but come with the car and need bulbs and ballasts IIRC)

    Suspension:

12" brake upgrade, GMPP rear sway bar, Dorman solid front sway bar, GM strut tower braces, Sprint front springs & SSC rear springs (not installed but come with...chosen for ride height and spring rates,) new trailing arm brackets, rebuilt rear strut towers, and other things I'm sure I'm forgetting

The body on the car has been cleaned up...all rust was cut out and repaired...the undercarriage was done in a mixture of rust proofing things...it will never rust again unless it's from the inside out. Just figured I'd throw out a list of mods for those unfamiliar.

Im pretty interested can you expand on the flywheel issue and the trailer necessity?
If it runs and drives why cant I drive it home?

The flywheel is machined too thick and needs to be milled down a little more for proper clutch engagement. I can get the clutch to slip if I'm really trying. The trans makes noise in 5th...enough to set off the knock sensors. That's the reason for the necessity of the trailer.

There are some pics in my build thread. The car isn't in paint either but the body is straight.

I would be interested but not at the price with a cooked tranny. What car did the trans come from?
I would love to do this to a bonnieville or a buick

If I new someone who did this and I could use like a 5 or 6 speed from a G8 I would pay big money for that mod - I bet others would

The car is all set for the 284...simple trans replacement. For a 282 from a 88-90 GP, it's only a few minor changes to the shift cables and a different clutch. The 6 speed from the G6 requires a bunch more fab as well as some aftermarket axles which is why I decided to not go that route.
