Thread: 1997 GTP(motor is bad)

I have a 1997 GTP 2 door coupe with 161,000 miles on it,a previous owner put a 3.4 pulley on the supercharger and i didnt do my research and the end result is virtually destroyed pistons. the car still has enough compression to start and run but not very well and fuel is getting into the oil. The transmission and all the other mechanical components of the car work great but the motor will need replaced for sure,oh and i have a zzp 3.8 pulley that will go with the car. the car is located in Lima Ohio and will need to be trailered,I'm asking $1,000

Wanna sell the mps off it? I'll throw a stock pulley back on it for you if you want and give you some cash.

are you talking about that quick change system on the supercharger?

Yeah which brand is it?

i know the pulley is made by pulley boys so if i had to guess i would say its a pulley boys system on it too

Happen to have a pic of it? How many bolt holes are in the pulley?

there are five bolt holes on the pulley

I wonder if zzp or intense pulleys fit?

i have a stock size zzp pulley for it too that looks like it would fit,the zzp pulley has five holes on it too that look like the same pattern

if you got a stock pulley you can put on I'll sell you the zzp 3.8,and the 3.4 thats on there now with the quick change hub yeah. you would have to come pull everything though
