2002 Grand Prix GTP Coupe
3.8L SuperCharged V6
Located on Long Island, NY 11751

I bought this car in August 2015 with 101k miles on it, and now it has just under 115K miles on it. Car drives nice, runs and handles great. Very dependable, everything works, no codes. Just bought a 2018 Explorer Sport and now have too many cars.

Here’s a list of all that’s been done to the car:
Engine
Supercharger was rebuilt in Oct of 2015 by PSE Superchargers in OK. The unit was ported and a 3.4” pulley was pressed on. The lower intake gasket was also changed at this time, the throttle body coolant ports plugged, coolant flushed, and all hoses and belts replaced.
The engine set up includes a ZZP WizAired cold air intake with K&N filter, 180* thermostat, AL-104 spark plugs, front ZZP Power Log exhaust manifold, hi-flow catalytic converter, 3” downpipe with deleted exhaust U-bend. Engine runs strong, no KR.
Transmission
The previous owner had the transmission rebuilt at 89k miles by an Aamco shop in CT. It’s past the Aamco warranty but I have all the paperwork documenting the rebuild. I just had the trans serviced with new fluid, filter, gasket, and had the cooler lines replaced also. Drive axles were replaced in 2016, and the left was just replaced again under warranty because the outer boot broke.
Suspension
Rear has been upgraded with tubular lateral arms and tubular trailing arms from the W-body store. Front has new control arms with Moog ball-type greasable lower bushings. Front and rear hub bearings were replaced in 2016.
Vogtland 1” lowering springs are installed all around along with KYB AGX struts.
Brakes/Tires/Wheels
All brake lines were replaced in 2017 with pre-bent stainless lines from each wheel to the ABS module under the hood. New proportioning valves and braided stainless lines to the calipers.
Front brakes have been upgraded to Corvette C5 calipers and Camaro rotors, the backs have 2005 Grand Pix GXP calipers and rotors, Hawk pads all around.
Wheels are Sport Edition P2 Anthractite size 18x8, tires are Michelin Pilot Sport 245/45-18. No rubbing issues even with passengers in the back seat. Tires were new in Sept 2016, so they have about 10k miles on them.
Body/Misc
Headlights were retrofitted this year with Morimoto H3 minis with switchback halos. The halos are white when the key is on so they function as DRLs and blink amber along with the turn signals.
Pioneer stereo installed that has satellite radio, bluetooth, CD, and front panel USB. All steering wheel controls work and it sounds great with the Bose factory system.
Black leather interior is in good condition, no rips or tears. Carpet is clean and incudes Lloyd’s front mats with red GTP logo.
Also has sliding sun/moon roof, heads up display, heated power driver’s seat with power lumbar, cruise control, ABS, automatic headlights, and LED tail lights. Ice cold air conditioning with separate driver/passenger manual climate controls.
The body is in decent shape, paint still shines and looks good when it’s clean. There are a number of dings, scratches, etc. This car is clean, but by no means a show car.
NO rust at all on the shock towers, but some is starting on the RR rocker panel. Nothing externally visible, and still solid.
