it sounds like he did, and he works with metal all day long, id take his word for it.....

sounds like who ever buys it should at least clean it up with Emory cloth to a nice shine.

And that is their decision not to use but theirs. This is way beyond the scope of selling a power log. But no I will not take his word alone I am actually doing research on it and I know what I have and it's obvious that it won't rust because it has already stood the test of time out in the garage. If you want to write a paper on stainless steel and rusting there's a form for that. Some people may not want to shine it some people may want to powdercoat it. did you ever think of that? If you have questions on the price then post it otherwise leave it alone

Powdercoat stainless? Are you high? That plog was wire brushed recently, so the test of time will be after it is installed and ran for a year. By the way I don't need to refute the paper, because it it correct. Like I said reread it because apparently you didn't understand it the first time. It's not going to rust out it is going to have rust where you contaminated it with the mild steel wire wheel. So instead of taking on a nice purple and gold hue it's going to have these nasty brown look. By the way $80 was a fair offer since it has no warranty and all the other facts I have given. If you think it won't take on a nice brown, mix up a 10% solution of bleach and water spray it on and let it sit for a few days.

I have said my piece, but if you keep trying to make it out like I'm talking out the side of my hat and I'll take you to school and slap a dunce hat on you on a stool in the corner. Now I'm being a jerk.
An engine is an engine no matter the size.... I think Dr. Seuss said that... or maybe it was Big Weld....
