Black Special Edition Hood off a 2001 GTP

I have a black special edition hood I would like to sell for 200 or best offer. I have no idea what shipping would be. On Monday I can contact Fastenall to get a quote, I had them ship a 200 lb transmission across the country for me for 175.

The came from a car which originated in Florida and sustained some heat damage. you can see the imperfections if you look close. it will be ok for a while, but I would imagine within the next year it will need paint. I had it buffed and detailed about 2 months ago.

Hood is located in Kemmerer, Wyoming. I can send more pictures via email upon request.

the imperfections I am speaking about are lighter colored when compared to the black of the hood. they are grey colored. I am open to offers because of these imperfections. here are some more pictures.

To be honest, I couldn't see the heat damage all that well until you posted the last pics. I was looking for a F1 hood but if the price is right, I might settle for yours.

I will let you know once you find out the shipping fee if I still want it. Otherwise if you sell to someone else, no biggie since I'm still undecided.

Why not just pull the scoops/drip tray, and ship those -.-

wouldnt need the drip tray if you arent going to cut holes in the hood. the actual special edition hood has holes in it.

I know. I've had a few set's of these scoops/driptrays...

I've took a grinder to a few GP hood's to install these correctly...

I'm just saying, it's ALOT less hassle to just pull the parts, and ship them in a decent box through USPS or something. V.s trying to ship a whole hood, which will probbally get even more damaged in the process...

Those scoops don't come off easy you know. Good luck getting them off without cracking them as a heads up.

Pay attention to what your doing, and you wont have any problems getting them off.... Usually the locating "tabs/pegs" on the scoops break off, but that's perfectly fine.
