Well, as most of you know, I built a 5 speed GP...and it needed a trans. Of course, after I sell the car, I got a whole parts car running driving 3.4 DOHC 5 speed Getrag 284. So, it's up for sale. I can get the trans pulled out along with pedal assembly, shifter, and all the other dumb stuff for $800. Don't expect me to drop too much on price because I gotta pull it yet. Trans is located in NE PA...you want it shipped you must arrange shipping. PM me for more info. No pics...I'm in NC and the car is PA...but I can get some shortly.

Welcome to the club. I have been after this vehicle since I was doing my swap because I know it hasn't been abused or anything...then when it finally went up for sale, I had my junk guy buy it because I couldn't afford it otherwise. I'm not making any money on this deal...I thought about building another 5 speed car...I just don't have the funds to do so, and figure I'll put it up for sale to pay what I owe on it.

You're the second person to ask me about that. I'm making the call today to find out where my junk guy and I are with the entire car. I know he stands to make about $400 on the shell by weight. The car is fixable from what I understand...just a little rusty.

Due to the rarity of the trans, people interested in the entire car, and the number of people who would like to do the swap, I will not be pulling just the trans at this time. I will keep the post updated as I gain more information/interest.

Ok, I finally had some exterior pics of the entire car sent to me. If someone is interested, I will give you the number to my guy in PA to contact about the car. Basically, I'm just helping him get the interest now which will pay off what I owe on it. I have yet to upload the pics to my photobucket and will post them when I get time. Otherwise, PM your cell number and I can send via text until then. Interior of the car is dirty but still salvageable is what I was told. Exterior isn't too bad from what I gather. Was driven into the junkyard and has been driven to verify trans operation by my junk guy.

It's FS. The whole car is FS...unless someone wants the swap...in which case the swap is FS. EVERYTHING is FS. LOL
