Some people might not remember these, I don't think they've made them for quite a while. SLP style intake and filter, it replaces the stock air box, and goes up against the fender opening. Has a cone K&N filter inside, will need recharging, and it holds the PCM inside. $50 shipped obo.

Just got one of these with a SLP GTX hood the other day.
I recommend this for anyone who has a SLP GTX hood and wants to have an airbox that functions with the ram air hood.
This should be fairly easy to drill a hole in to match the port on the hood -the foam seals are available on ebay for around $16 including shipping.

I believe the one your talking about is different, iirc slp made a different lid for the air box that goes with the GTX hoods.

Theoretically, this should just sit right where my stock airbox is? No moving, rearranging any components in my engine bay. I have a 1999 N/A GP.
This is where I'd put my mods, if I had any.

Is this kinda like having a CAI? I really don't want my PCM to just sit at the bottom if I do a DIY one.

It's a pretty neat setup, the pcm sits in a compartment beside the filter.

This has been sold to k slice.

You can always remove your factory airbox and cut out the front of the box to expose the panel filter, and get a K&N drop-in. Free + the filter. Better than stock for sure as well.

Thanks Reptile! Can't wait to get it put in. The fact that it holds the pcm really sold it for me.
