If you ever decide to part out, I would definitely be interested in the coilovers.

Yeah it might be parted out further if no one is interested. Everybody wants the coils.

If you can get the cage out without mangling it into a thousand pieces I would be interested. Is it bolted to the floor or welded Down?

If you can't get it out do you by chance have specs of when it was built that you can share?

The cage is welded in. It is a kit from Jegs, mild steel. I painted it gunmetal to match the front and rear fascia color.
All the points on the floor have a 1/8inch plate down and then the pipe on that.
It is all up to Tech with the welds and foam around the driver.

Link to the Jegs kit you used? Did everything fit or was trimming of pieces needed etc.

Can't find it atm, but it was for a 97-02 monte carlo body style, came as a 8 point cage. yeah very little trimming was needed for the ends and the angle they met the floors. It was done in a Saturday afternoon, wasn't too bad.

I am selling the cage and the coil overs- It just happens to come with a car installed!

Do you think 1500 is a fair asking price?

All windows are still glass, the sunroof is replaced with lexan. A lot of time was spent taking metal out of doors, rear end, and every weight reduction mod is done. Grand Am brakes, Aluminum cradle, etc.

This is the car to have if you want to break some records, as I have done. now I'm off to another platform.
