Provides a more accurate reading of the air flow. Yes they do.

Your throttle body has one from the factory unless it has been removed.

Is there a thread about this? Or is this a statement/question? I don't see how an lq4 maf will benefit a bolted 3.4 pulley'd car. I ran stock maf on my s1x gtp which was in the 10000hz range. A 3.2 pulley or below then yes I can see.
