Hey guys, I have a set of brand new Speed Daddy's headers I bought for my '99 GTP that I never had the chance to put on. Sadly the Silvermist is gone now, so they just sit in the closet. I'd like to get $150 o.b.o plus shipping unless you pick them up in the Nashville area. MSG me if you want additional pics or have any questions!! Thanks!!

Are SD headers stainless steel? What would a shipping quote be to 24073?

Yes they're stainless steel, and also, a 3" outlet. Looks like shipping via UPS ground will be around $25-30.

They sorta are lol, its like 304 stainless. Which will over time start the get surface rust if the car see's salt. My downpipe is brown/rusty like the rest of my exhaust after 2 winters, though the manifold and crossover still shine pretty good.

Just thought I had to share.

I think you mean 409 Stainless, or one of the 400 series, surface rust but won't rust through.

304 is the good stuff that shouldn't rust at all. I could be backwards to, but I thought that's how it was.

Okay to clarify this would not work with my GP GT then? since it has a 3" outlet? I assume stock exhaust is 2.5" can anyone verify?

The Speed Daddy headers have a cat-back flange piece that will allow you to tie it into a stock cat-back

Ah gotcha, I didn't see it in the picture so I was unaware it came with it. Elrodd I assume it comes with that and clamps that aren't pictured as well?

As long as he still has the stock setup it will. Sadly the PO of my car took it somewhere for just a resonator and mufflers, and they felt the need to weld the downpipe w/cat to the pipes and resonator.

My only concern is will this run fine on a GT or will it kill off my low end?

Exhaust mods always change the powerband. So, yes. More flow means less low end.

They don't seem to want to answer that question. I've heard it will, but you make up for it in high end power. It's probably very little anyway. Considering how my N/A has more than enough low end power (spinning the wheels from a stop on dry roads and going straight, not on blacktop), and pretty bad high end, I'd do it for what he's selling it for.

That's good info ^. I assume the DP is fairly thin right? Thinner than stock? You could always use header paint.

Ok, sorry it took so long to reply, but they may be sold already. I did receive your messages if you sent them, I'm just very busy getting ready for deployment so I can't get back to them until late evening. I will keep the thread updated, but if I have not responded to your PM yet, they are currently spoken for. They do have the clamp for the downpipe and the gaskets.
