I have a AVT-852 with firmware to work with DHP software.

I sent my original DHP to AVT for them to fix but upon inspection they recommended I just upgrade (purchase) the 852. The 852 is nice because it uses a USB cable so no need for an adapter.

This has the analog inputs for widebands, egt, etc.

The price is $175 shipped anywhere in the lower 48 states.

It will come with what you see in the picture. I don't have the installation disc anymore but the software is available for download online.

This worked flawlessly with my laptop (win XP pro 32bit). I can't guarantee it'll work with anything newer than that as I've never tried although I'm sure it will.

PM if interested. Price is firm.

    Flushing, MI for local pickup.

yes, but your best to use it with a off board interface.

there might be one for sale still in parts for sale. or you can make one, wire diagrams are out there.

ive got one for a 04 that i had hooked to a power supply, but im going to add alligator clips and power it off the cars battery.

I used it on my 04. I flashed mine in the car. There is just some steps you want to always take. Main one being make sure everything (radio, ac, wipers, etc) is turned off before flashing.

I personally never had a problem with it. Just put the car back to stock and sold it.

you can go via the obd port, but its truly safer with a off board for a 04 and 05.

What's the problem with flashing thru obd port? I only ask because I never had a problem with well over 50 reflashes. I did have one issue with the radio security once but I fixed that by making sure the only thing turned on in the car during a flash was the ignition key.

many have bricked their pcm flashing via the obd2 port. just how dhp is, one day its fine the next it bites you in the ass.

radio fuse also need to be removed. with a off board theres no chance of a voltage change being powered with a 12 volt source.

Ok. Guess I just got lucky. I do know my old interface with the serial cable adapter was a lot more finicky than this one with USB. I wonder if that has something to do with it :-)

it just might, most use that, the usb corded avt's seem to read and write faster too.

FWIW I bricked 2 pcms on my 05 trying to do it though the ODBII, zero issues once I built an off-board harness.
