Hey guys!

Haven't been on here in a long time, as I have been without my grand prix for about 3 years :/. I still miss it.

I am back on here to sell the Corsa Catback exhaust I had for it. If you go on Corsa's website, they say it is only compatible with 1997-2003 grand prixs....that is wrong. I had it on my 2005 grand prix. Most of you probably could have figured that out on your own, since I'm sure most of you already know that both generations have the same exhaust set up (with the exception of the last few years when the base model did not have a y pipe dual tip exhaust).

I bought this catback used off of a member here a long time ago. It was in good shape then, still is now...with the exception of it being a bit bent because the person I bought it from was rear-ended with that catback on their car. I never tried to fix that. The exhaust still fit my car fine, it just hung low in one spot. One of the tips has some scratches on it from that accident as well, but they are not noticeable when its on the car.

The catback sounded great! I don't believe there are many sound clips out there of them on grand prixs. I actually have some before and after one's on youtube at idle (search 2005 pontiac grand prix gt stock exhaust or corsa catback and you should be able to find it), those don't do the catback justice. It sounds so much better when the car is in gear. I never got any sound clips of that unfortunately, because you did not really hear the true sound of it from the cabin of the car, and I just never asked anyone to stand on the side of the road and record it for me. Basically, the exhaust is plenty loud, with minimal extra cabin noise. I'm sure if you wanted more you could just weld a straight pipe in place where the resonator on the catback is placed. Oh and that remind's me, when I bought it there were pinhole sized leaks around the resonator...my dad welded those shut so they are fixed.

I was holding onto this catback with the intention of using the mufflers in the future on something else because I love how it sounded, but I will be going to graduate school soon so I need the extra money to put towards my savings for living costs when I move. I want this exhaust to go to someone who will really enjoy it, so this forum was my first stop to attempt to sell it.

If you were to buy a brand new catback from corsa, you will be paying $1380 if you choose the lowest shipping cost at $20. I am selling mine for $750 OBO. I will try to log back on here to check on this thread, but you're better off contacting me on my email, matt.winters93@gmail.com, if you have any questions or want to send me an offer. I will be checking that more often. I AM LOCATED IN BRISTOL, CT. I would highly prefer to sell this locally. I don't have a probly driving 30-45 minutes to meet someone halfway to sell.

Thanks guys!
