You wouldn't want this in an 04, you don't have tpms or the airbag sensor so you'd get an alert every time the car started. They are reprogrammable though, I've had it done for my 05.

Yeah, I know what you mean. I got lucky with my 05 and found one on eBay for a low price. This was originally intended to go into my sisters car but she thought she had an 07 but has an 05.
