I've seen the stock muffers are 2.25 and 2.50 I Just want to put a thrush glass pack on, a downpipe, mufflers and tips. I want to Just have it all welded in what sizes do I need? Just about all the aftermarket mufflers for our cars sound terrible.

Magnaflow, flowmaster both drone like crazy. Only a select few sound okay at best.

Anyways, the pipe size is 2.25 from the catback flange to the Y, then from the Y its 1 7/8in pipe to the mufflers. So figure the mufflers are 2in ish.

Do you think borla would have a good deep smooth sound to it? So 2.25 mufflers would work fine?

I have 2.25 from the cat back, all new pipe, 18" resonator, two turbo mufflers. No RASP, slight drone at low speeds and sounds awesome WOT. Just go to youtube and look up exhaust samples and if you have a subwoofer on your comp then you can get a better sound judgement.

    Ehh choice is yours.

I would personally go with a cherry bomb or thrush glasspack.

The longer the pack, the less drone but more quite it is.

The shorter the pack, more drone but louder exhaust.

Find a happy medium, pick your poison.

    Yes sir.

With a 2.25 in/out you can clamp it to your exhaust.

Its not that big of a deal if you get a different size, you can weld together two different sizes, but if your only trying to clamp together and not weld, you need exact dimensions, which in your case is 2.25in
