I can get them from oreilys for about $13.50 also long as there are atleast 7 people that order them. Then there will be a $2-3 for shipping to you.

Group buy makes no sense seeing as RA fixed the shipping.

Thats less than you want people to pay for the part. Let alone shipped.

    Thus group buy is irrelevant.

Well, this will be the LAST time I order anything from RockAuto. What crappy customer service! First they charged me $15+ bucks for shipping and two packages came just now and they are from a warehouse 10 MINUTES FROM MY JOB!!!!in the Bronx! Fifteen dollars for that??!

So I open the packages and my AC Delco Thermostat is there WITHOUT the gasket. I ordered it w/gasket. Okay, so I call Rockauto and the customer service guy asks me if I could just go to the auto parts and buy one. Are you f-ing kidding me?! I paid 15 dollars for shipping first off, they screw up the order, and now I'm supposed to go to the store and buy it? I'm very surprised at that kind of service. Live and learn I guess!

did some quick research at Rockauto's site. One is $1.85 shipping. Two come from seperate places and each is 1.85 shipping. 3+ goes to abotu $10 shipping and even 15 elbows is still only $11 shipping.
I drink..so consider that when reading my posts.

Do you want to wait for shipping or install it today?

If you're fine waiting, they should send you a gasket.

But most people would flip **** and want to install it as soon as they recieved it, the most logical thing to do is get a gasket locally.

They short shipped me one exhaust valve, called up and they sent out another box of two no charge.

Sorry. The Alum Elbows are what I ordered. The other items were on the same order. I figured to kill a few birds with one stone. The Elbows haven't arrived yet. Supposedly tomorrow.

Strauss on Castle Hill is gone unfortunately. Pep Boys is a joke here in the Bronx. I should have explained. The items were all part of the Elbow Order. I figured if I was getting the elbows I might as well change out the T-Stat as well.

Well, I'm confused then. You can see in my above post the copy of the actual invoice. What irked me is that the TB Gaskets, T-Stat, both came from a warehouse that is literally 10 minutes from my job in the Bronx. Anyway, it is what it is. Can't do much about it now.

Oh, I am fine waiting since the T-Stat will be changed when they do the Elbows. Instead of just saying that we're sorry for the inconvenience, let me get a gasket out to you today, he said and I quote, "well, can't you just go and get a gasket locally?" Thats crap! Not after paying 15 bucks for shipping!

But hey, it's simple. If your not happy just go somewhere else. I have bought from them before and didn't have any problems. I didn't have a problem today either until he said what he said. I would have kindly waited for the gasket to come.

That must have been what happened. I ordered not long after the thread started. Saturday the 25th I think is when I placed it. Just my luck they changed it afterwards! Anyway, I just got an email that the elbows will be here tomorrow and the missing gasket shipped out today so all is good.

According to RA, it's still gonna cost me $10.92 to ship them to 38112. wtf? That's more than the part.

Why did yall find the shipping was cheaper? Maybe they caught on to our scheme.................
