You may jsut have to unbolt it from the bracket and push it aside.

Do some searching, there might be a write up on here.

tip # 1 loosen the 4 small bolts that hold the pulley to the water pump, then take the belt off.

tip # 2 get some thread sealant for the 4 long bolts, when you remove them coolant will pour out of the threaded hole. so sealant is need to reseal the bolts.

tip #3 the p/s pump pulley has a hole in it, you stick a socket with a extension through the hole to get to the two bolts, they are at 12 and 6 o'clock on the pulley.

tip # 4 if you are s/c'ed you will need to remove the lower idler by the crank to get one of the long bolts out. it takes a t 45 socket to get it off.

tip # 5 clean the water pump mating surface well, use a razor to scrap off any old gasket. install new gasket, it comes with the new pump. install dry, no rtv is needed.

    pic of the pump off.

and the new one installed, i had mine for days before i got to put it on, so i painted it black.

i also unbolted the fuse box and tied it off to the side for more room to work.
