    I have a 1989 GPGT with the 2.8l an auto trans.... but my issue is it has dog bone mounts....so my question is what would be the best motor for me to swap in
    1989 GPSE Currently under construction undering going paint and body work.

    Find a turbo setup from a 3.1 motor from the early 90's. IIRC, I have an IC and manifold for it here. Then, get a 3.1 60* V6...and have fun.

    only problem with that is it has 2 have dog bone mounts

    look at also a 3.4 , not 100 % sure if it will work comepletely but it should , did one in a 84 cherokee , the 2.8 are turds on their best days , but the cherokee had a 2.8 and i got a 3.4 long block out od a 95 firebird and all the 2.8 stuff bolted up , intake , pullys oil pan . there all in the same family of 60 degree v6's . btw the cherokee been running fine for almost 5 years now without a hiccup one
