I was thinking of getting this pkg of Speed Daddy headers (1997 1998 1999 GRAND PRIX V6 3.8L PERFORMANCE HEADERS - eBay (item 180490870365 end time Jan-31-11 16:41:33 PST)) from Ebay, but I had a few questions beforehand.

How complicated are they to install? Being it is a FWD car and all.

And what exactly come with these packages? Are there any other/better/cheaper packages that I am not aware of?

    Thank you very much,
    Austin

Order those, get new gaskets and get band clamps. You should be good to after that, install is super easy. Most time consuming part may be taking off stock exhaust is it's never been off, and the hardest part is gettin the rear header in. Which isn't really that bad

As if this topic hasn't been talked about 976 times.

    Yes...SD's are great headers...they have 2 drawbacks...

    1) If you use the clamps they come with...good luck getting them to slide back apart

    2) The flexpipes are crappy...get a new one welded in...

Other than that...getting off the factory exhaust sucks and you need plenty of RTV...use the crap out of it at all the joints to make sure it seals.

    Thank you all very much.

Factory exhaust has been off before, so I should be good!
