read on clubgp earlier today its a waste to put headers on a l36 and they should really only be put on gtp's. no reason was given, so if this is true, what's the reasoning behind it? thanks in advance!

N/a's dont need that much flow, If you plan to topswap get headers.
Whoever says its a waste has never heard of speed daddy headers and never driven an L36 with headers.
$220 to your door and it'll actually pull in the top end instead of falling flat on its face. It'll still be a slow boat but it'll be more fun to drive.
thats what i figured because a performance mod is still gonna give you SOME performance, maybe not alot but some. better than a down pipe im sure correct?
Yup, i still have enough torque down low to spin my tires in the dry so i'm happy till I get some boost.
It is much more balanced. IF you want to stay N/A try some ER rockers and a HV3. That should give you a decent pull. Also a custom tune would help greatly.
But the better idea is to throw headers on, then gather parts + funds for a top swap and go from there.
I see it as a gateway mod to better things.
