I did a top swap and put a sc on a N/A engine and was wandering if I could just use octane boost in regular gas and make it work? Is that going to have the same affect as runing premium gas?

yeah, but why go the extra length? just fill it up with primo at the pump so you don't slip and forget to add the octane booster

after you spend 100s of dollars on octane booster that takes a metric **** ton to actually make a difference then youll know why. just fill up with premium.

never heard of a metric sh!t-ton before bio, how's that differ from an imperial sh!t-ton? lol

filling up with premium only adds like, what, $2 a tank? that's probably your best bet

Well I live out of town and the pump by our place doesn't have premium so I was just wandering if it would work. I wouldn't do it all the time but it would be nice if I could do it every once in a while. A friend told me that some brand of octane boost cost around $2.00?

If you run anything less than 91 then never step on the gas unless you wanna blow your front bank of pistons.

even with octane boost. it's not really as simple as people make it out to be

here's a good thread about it:

it's kinda long, but it should answer your questions
