So, I have a 2002 Grand Prix GT that's been progressively leaking more oil. The rear main seal was replaced a year ago, the valve cover gaskets were replaced in the safety recall and the oil filter has no oil around it. The oil leaks very steadily, especially after driving for a bit, from the passenger side. The bottom is covered with oil after driving, so it's hard to get a good look at where it's coming from, but could be anywhere from the front to the rear of the engine, on the passenger side.

My guess is the oil pressure switch, but I can't see it. Any opinions, wisdom or suggestions?

turn wheels to the left all the way, then look behind the tire to the oil filter, then to the left of it is the ops, its over the axle, if its leaking you'll see it leaking or its plug will be covered in oil as well as the axle/.

Well, I was able to find it, start the car up to see oil leaking instantly from further toward the front of the engine. It's unlikely to be leaking for the oil pan, but I'll investigate.

that leaks right on the engine mount. drips out the bottom of the sub frame.

It's rather easy to replace, while you have the balancer off take a good look at it. If it has a groove in it, replace it too or you'll be doing another seal and balancer.

Scotty has a few pictures of the groove. He should share.
I drink..so consider that when reading my posts.
