I am curious what everyone uses to keep the interior of their cars lookin' sexy. I don't like to use Armour all, because in other cars I've had, it looks great right when it's cleaned, but it really attracts dust. There is this new "Wipe New" that is in infomercials, that not only cleans, it "repairs" discoloured plastics. has anyone tried it? Also, what is good to use on the leather seats? If anyone has pictures of what their interior looks like after using their preferred product, please let me know the name of the product and post a before / after picture. Thanks, any help on this matter will be greatly appreciated.

Thanks for the tip. What do you use for your dash and the other non-leather surfaces in your interior?

I hate armor all. It leaves things looking way too shiny, and dries things out, so whatever you applied it to is now going to rely on it.

I use meguiars natural shine, out of all the products I've used, this one lasts the longest, doesn't dry things out, and leaves a nice sheen. Pretty much everything in my interior gets a wipe with it.

Heck, I use it on my tires also. But because of the elements, it doesn't last as long as I'd like it to. But it's still the best I've found for tires.

Also I'm not convinced on the "wipe new" stuff.

Any of the name brands...meguiars, pinnacle, adams, sonax, etc... are worth a damn. Pay the little extra money and get the better products.

Now that I thin of it, my seats are in good condition, but are hard as hell. Like stiff, hard plastic. What should i use to soften them up?

My seats and everything are nice... i usually use a heavily diluted solution of water and dawn dish soap for heavily grimy areas with a very light misting from a spray bottle and a damp rag then follow it up with pure water and a drying rag. Other than that, i found some ArmorAll cleaning wipes that dont leave too much of a shine. Purple package... like 3-4 bucks at wallmart.

I've always liked Zymol Leather Cleaner and Conditioner. I've only found it at NAPA and it's hard to find sometimes. Reminds me that i'm out currently though ...

I have this product that I have been using on my GP called "VOODOO Blend Leather Rejuvenator" by "Surf City Garage". I had a faded spot on my dash and it removed it completely. It isn't oily like armor all and it smells like leather. The shine it leaves behind lasts a long time as well. It doesn't cost much either (12.99 on amazon.com). I love this product, you can use it on any leather, vinyl, or plastic, whether it is on your dash, seats, or even your leather jacket. This product is BOSS lol. I hope this helps and as LeadfootCJ7 says, you should clean it first.

Both of these are good. Clean THEN condition. Those one step products don't do as well. I like to put the conditioner on when I can leave the car parked for a couple of days and let the leather absorb as much of it as possible before wiping it off.

Just to chime in, I have spent a lot of money and time wasted trying to get GP leather seats up to par. Finally had some decent luck.

    I had bought this http://www.leatherique.com/do_it_you...irections.html

I had great results by the following method:

    1. take a sponge soaked in HOT water and get the crud off the seats.
    2. park your car in the HOT ass sun.
    3. apply the oil THICK. rub in it well with your hands on all the leather surfaces.
    4. close the doors and go have a few beers or whatever you do.
    5. after a few hours of good heat soaking, grab a clean scrub brush (like you would use in your bathroom) and the prestine clean and go to work. you can scrub them lightly with just the oil, then spray the cleaner on and scrub like hell. apply more prestine clean, continue to scrub.
    6. using a white cloth preferably, wipe it off. be amazed how dirty your seats were.
    7. you can either repeat, or just spray the prestine clean on once more and do a thorough wipe with a clean cloth.

It was amazing. I've never gotten them that clean and soft before. Really took the stiffness out of the seats. In my opinion, I think the trick was actually scrubbing them with a brush instead of just wiping them down. But I do really like this product. I don't however think the scrub brush is something you do all the time. Like the instructions say, a soft brush is best for regular use.
After 10+ years they do get naaaasty.
