I know it's not a GP, but it's my old car and I did all the work.First, a background story on the car.It got misted with orange oil based paint and the people who "detailed" it, ruined it and my boss wouldn't do anything about.I couldn't afford to loose my job over and I couldn't afford the $400 the body shop wanted to fix it. So boyfriend bought it off of me and 2 years later, here I am trying to fix it on my own.I used a PC7242XP and mainly Poorboy's World Products. My finishing wax was by Wolfgang. It's not perfect, but it is sooooo much better than it was before. The marring and micro swirls are gone, with just the bigger scratches remaining.I started in on it at 8am in the car wash bay.I did the 2 bucket method.Washed it once and then clay barred it.eww...Then washed it again and drove it to the shop to air dry and get started. After bath waiting to go inside:Here are just some pictures showing the severity of the paint:This was after working the SSR2 a little with a white pad at speed 5/6:Before:After:Once I got the whole car done, I went over it again with Spray and wipe to get rid of the ssr2. I then put a red pad on and applied EX-P (love this stuff!)Let that sit for a little while I washed windows, ate lunch and cleaned up some other things. After I wiped the EX-P off: and after that I applied some Wolfgang Fuzion carnauba wax How's this for a reflection shot Then I finished cleaning up my things and stood back and admired my work, really not wanting to move the car outside because I knew it'd get dusty immediately. On to the outside pretty shots:Thought this turned out neat with the American Flag:And then of course I took it out on the road and got some more shots:I need to get a more abrasive polish and tackle it with an orange pad to hopefully finish the correcting stage. The end.

Sorry everything is all distorted and words aren't lined up with pictures.
Every time I fix it, it goes right back to where it was.

I did use my PC, first time it was ever out of the box!
Black honestly wasn't that bad. I was just nervous because I didn't wanna burn the paint.
I marked the yellow packing pad and kept my eye on it to make sure it was always spinning.

It got its work out today tho, thats for sure.
I finally regained the feeling in my arms/fingers a couple hours ago.

cool! yeah its a work out! it took days for my arms to stop hurting. i still need to redo mine like 2 more times, but now you know why people charge so much for a good detailing job. the numbness in your hands does go away too.

Haha, I could make a business out of this. But I'm to slow to get cars done in 1 day.
I was exhausted after that was done and it still needs another polishing go around.

My arms are killing me today.
