Restored my headlight lenses still have some moisture inside the housings but that will have to wait till it get a little warmer again to pull them out and re seal the housings.

The process: Wet sanded the lenses with 600 grit followed up with 1000 grit then finished up with the Diamondite kit.

    After:

2000 Grand Prix SE: Knocking rod mod and broken timing chain mod. L67 coming soon!

did the kit include a clear coat?

    If not, I'd suggest one.

Otherwise all that work will be for nothing in the matter of months now that the protective coating is gone.

I just have a paint sealant on the for the time being till it gets a little warmer and i can seal them with UV Sealer-Helmsman Spar Urethane(Indoor/Outdoor)Clear Gloss mixed with Mineral Spirits(1part urethane to 1 part mineral spirits. Ive heard of people having real good results using this method so i am going to give it a shot on my lenses.
