The rubber around the outside of my factory sunroof is almost faded to a white color. It didnt help that the last owner got wax on most of the rubber when he waxed the car.

Is there anything I can do to get it black again? I tried a little bit of Back-To-Black last year and it didnt help. I dont think I used enough though.

    Any suggestions?

Have you tried armor all interior wipes? Whenever I get wax on rubber, it seems to take it right off.

yes armor all every peice of rubber to protect it, idk if it will restore it to a black tho, might have to paint it or something, then keep armor all on it, as well as all weather stripping on the car

Adams Viynl Rubber and Tire Dressing (VRT). I have used it on mine without issue and they just reformulated it (check second link) to repel water even though its water based and give it a nice natural look.

mothers back to black and armorall does not restore faded sunroof trim. If you have wax it will take that off, but it will not make the trim nice and black. trust me, ive tried lots of stuff on the trim and just gave up. my buddy said he used something like petroleum jelly and just let it sit on there for like a half hour...

i've yet to try it. his trim looked brand new though. very black

Anyone know where you could just buy one used? I tried gmpartsdirect.com and I found the link to it but it said there wasn't anything in the category :/
