I guess the question is. What is best for protecting the frontend from rock chips and bugs without making the car look fugley.

they make clear bras, its like a lamination that goes along the front of the car. its easy on easy off. i wouldnt use a bra personally because they tend to wear into the paint.

Unless you get something to cover your whole front end, your whole hood, and your mirrors, you're going to get chips sooner or later. May as well avoid the ugly bra. Unless your front end is f*cked.

They trap moisture and dirt and hold it against your paint job. Plus they look like hell

Bras ruin your paint over time like these guys are stating. Best thing to do is keep more distance from the car in front of you. The only thing I would use to protect my paint would be the clear coverings. 3m Clear Bras and bulk film sells those types of things

Thanks for the input, I guess I don't have to worry about it now since a Fedex truck came over the center line while I was passing and messed up my mirror. I didn't care for the black bra look anyway lol.

i just put a bra on mine 2day. i think it looks good, well alot better than it did. i got it cause my front end needs a paint job and cant afford a paint job rite now. but sure enough when i do have money for a paint job the bra is coming off.

^ I agree. Get a clear coating. As I and others have stated before a bra will make the paint fade really well on the front end and traps moisture. I might check into the clear coating.

Destroys the paint? I beg to differ. My GTP had a bras on since 98 and the paint under it is fine.

Removed it when I bought the car and the damage under the bra is no worse than damage passed the bra. (hell look at my sig. That pic us unedited)

Have since installed it on my SE
