Hey just got car back from paintjob and thought they did ok... I was disappointed though.
they painted OVER the badges that I planned to take off. The black was more black/blue
rather than whole BLACK. Also, they told me theyd take care of the rust/chips part on
the door trims. they did not.... apparently they put tape on it and pulled it too hard,
making it look even worse. How do I fix them up?

    here's pics and problems

    here are the problems

sorry if it seems dirty. when i got it back, it was covered with dust ):

Looks like the classic chips on rust that appears on all the pillars of any 97-03 GP to me! Mine started that crap last fall.. so this spring I went to the dealer and bought a little bottle of touch up paint for 12 bucks. Comes in a little can with a brush and ball point tip. The cheapest way to fix those little nicks and chips is to just touch them up with the paint. and Apply Mother's Back to Black as needed!

the a pillars are held on by like 3 screws. you gotta pull the weather stripping out of the door to get them off. i sanded and painted mine. looks a million times better.

What grit of sandpaper did you use kfish? I have to do mine sometime in the near future? Bought a brand new applique and installed it myself on sunfire, but that was because it was pretty hazy and all of the tabs that the screws go into were broken off. was a used door, so it was to be expected that it wouldn't be that great of shape.
