Ohk so i just got done washing the gp and my neighbor is out on the porch and says to me " I think you wash that car a little to much, if you keep washing it so much the paint is going to fade and the clear coat will start to wear out". So my question is can this really happen? I never heard of this but figured id ask. Also, how many times do you guys wash your car in a week? I was it one a good week twice if i got time.

How many washes does it take to wash the wax off? If you're not removing your wax with a single wash (which I'm certain you're not), then there's no way you're removing clearcoat by washing.

I get the same comment when I'm washing my car, too. I always assume it's just a facetious remark.

wash all you want, washing will not take off the clear, wiping down the hotrod with a shammy will polish the clear after a very very long time, I mean a long time...
    so wash away

I was or clean my car 3/4 times a week if not more. It can after a while start taking the wax coating off but i wax my car every other month or so or maybe just certain areas like the top of the car since they seem to be the worst hit by sun. But I've had my car almost 5 years now and the shine is just as good as a new car or better so i doubt you have anything to worry about

not so much anymore, but i use to wash my old car every 3 days, each month, it could be dead winter, i would open up the valve for the hose and wash it and see the icy soap come off, and each wash i would do a quick waxing, and once a month the 3 stage waxing and detailing, each wash i used a power washer, and when i was done your eyes woudl burn off from the reflection

See the Sky?? lol not bad for 10 year old paint (At the time)

I wash mine every other day. My van that is. I own a detailing business, so a clean vehicle is an image of my business.

Zaino, yuck...... sorry, someone has to say it.
It's a over rated product. Everyone has to try it because someone says so...

Not bashing you at all, just never liked it. Yes, I tried it many many times. I can get far superior results from different products
