So im watching TV today and i saw this duplicolor stuff in a spot on the show (horsepower tv) and they took a plain faded black seat and turned it into a red and black seat that looked great. Has anyone ever used this knows anyone who has used it? The application seems to work good and dries fast, my main concern/question is regarding rub off later on in life. I dont wanna have it ruin mine or my passengers clothes.

here is the product in question High-Perf Vinyl & Fabric Coating

It's decent stuff for sure. It will wear out on the trouble spots over time (edges where you rub against when you get in ect) But it's not going to rub off on your clothes or anything like that.

Basicly you spray it on and let it dry. It dryes hard. Them you take a brush and pretty much scrub the seat. Then it's soft again! And there you have it!

From my experience, my friend used that on his cloth civic seats back in high-school. The seats felt like sandpaper and would have clothing fabric all over them, from rubbing on clothing.

i think like TDC said, it would dry hard then brush it up and should go soft, its really only fabric dye in aresol format.

im ok with wear over time that needs touching up, providd its not onto my clothes lol

I've always hated seat covers but dude your interior is actually pretty nice, usually custom ones are ugly as fawk. But I have black leather jealous? Haha jk
