  3. No, the wattage is just how much power it can handle before it blows... The higher the wattage the heavier duty the resistor is and it has no effect on the resistance. A 470 is a 470 if its 1/8th watt or 5 watt only difference is how much flow it can handle and the size of course increases with more handling ability.
  4. Hey, going off you DIC colour change, I have a feeling you know some stuff around resistors. I just want to know if this will work.
    They say to disable Auto lights you can stick a 1/4 watt 470 ohm resistor in the sensor. I have a 1/2 watt 470 ohm resistor. will the difference in wattage make a difference?
