Eric, it's a should thing. I have seen a few cars that have accepted a gear change like that w/o throwing a code. Technically though you want to change your shift points etc and that would take a tune.
Hey do you know if I will need a tune. I just pulled a trans from a non supercharged regal to put in my supercharged 01 gp. I heard I would need on due to gearing difference.
