There is a little rattle cause I messed up a clip, and I have poly upper motor mounts..... But yeah, my car had 25k on it, and the dash looked new when I cut into it..... Hell, I still had warranty left when I tore apart the motor to do my top swap
lol!! you crackin me up 02bluegt.....only bc i just recently found one online and after i was done reading it...(pretty much, exactly your interpretation below is how it played out in my head just thought previously, it was more complicated than that! But currently im at a crossroads bc my car is exquisite, the dash literally looks like it was made yesterday lol!! was very well taken care of!! So not as sure anymore that i want to go hacking on it and end up screwin it up!! does yours fit pretty snug, no rattle, that kind of thing?
There are several how to's spread around, but mine was pretty much, get HUD, HUD switch, and dash bezel (plastic cover) cut dash apart, insert HUD, connect harness(connectors were already there in my car) Put bezel over... and done
what up 02blue! saw that it said in your stats that u added a HUD in your car, I am getting a 99 gtp today, and wouldn't u know it didn't come with it Was wondering how u did yours? Any info would b helpful
