  1. I'm sorry to bug you again but I noticed in you vid that you had your laptop hooked up to your car somehow-OBD port I'm guessing, Can you tell me where to get software and about how much it was?. is it a USB 2.0 to OBD2 cable? where can I find one of those also!! I've got an OBD2 scanner but it's basically very simple. Thanks
-By the way I finished my LIM swap actually turned in to head gaskets too since I was that far into it. thanks for the vid!!

  2. A garage will charge anywhere from $450 to $900 to do the LIM gaskets.

I went through the same thing as you though......my wife's 3400 Grand Am GT had bad LIM gaskets and I couldn't afford the garages price (since they are more expensive to do) and I just decided to try and do it myself. That was the first time I ever tore into an engine and now I'm making videos of me doing it on other peoples cars....lol!

  3. I'm new to the site and not really a big "modder" unless it is economy driven! I watched your video on the LIM gasket change, it was very, very nice. I've been searching for lost coolant and overheating issues with my wifes car (she's the owner of the GP! I'm driving a beater blazer!) Anyways, I think You've confirmed what our problem is! Off hand, about how much does a garage charge to do a LIM change? I'm afraid I'm going to have to do this myself if it is out of my price range.
Awesome video though, at least I know what I'm looking at though.
    thanks for taking the time
