You cut the pins (showing in the second picture) then when you flip it open, just remove the red plastic piece. You can use brake cleaner and remove the red from the plastic (it will be white when you remove the red). I just removed that piece and replaced it with a piece off of a blue transparent folder.
Yeah I know but I didnt see in there how to remove the slight red tint from the LCD itself
