Try driving it around for a few days and see if it changes. Also try resetting the mpg readout and also reset the setting for the gallons used. The wiring you used is fine.
hey i gotta issue with the DIC. everything lights up and works but the range keeps saying low. i have nearly a full tank. wtf? also the avg fuel economy i believe is reading wrong also bc ik i get way better then 13 mpg. when i used extra wire, i used 16 gauge. even though its not the same gauge as stock wires, it should be good right?

You are going to have to pull out your HVAC controls out to see that brown wire. You will splice into that wire. The same goes for the other wire that goes to the HVAC.
just finishing up my dic conversion. where to i hook up A2 BRN Ignition 3 Voltage? it says location HVAC-C.
i'll get the connector for the digital dic but looking at the schematics, i'll have unused wires. is that correct?
