Camp Shelby, MS ...about 20mins from hattesburg...about mid march we'll move to NTC in the mojave desert, CA then 2-3weeks after that we come home for about 4 days then probably fly out from ft. bragg

man if i had heard of USCG when i was 18 it'd be in that...yeah im alittle thrilled about going too. only cause it'd be nice to get away from here, it shouldnt be so bad. u never know i might volunteer another tour after this one and end up in the same FOB wid him.
Well he wants to go to Iraq...our mom on the otherhand...well you know how that goes. Im proud of him for joining up, and hopefully this will make him grow up. I tried enlisting with the USCG but was told by medical examiners that my knees couldnt take it (born with 2 bad knees) but then I got the great job which im currently at and a wife so im fine with that lol.
well anyone in the 230th BDE or the 252 BDE and i think the 1/51st all going to iraq but since he still gotta do training, he might just ease up out of this deployment .. So pretty much all NC NG is going.
Cool deal.. My lil bro just inlisted with the NG, he'll be based out of the Mocksville/Lexington group once he's out of basic and AIT.
