  1. the brakes are key.... if you are able to get some tubing..so that you bring more air to the front brakes..this would help you out greatly!!! stopping the 3500lbs car...takes a lot. as far as handling. drive your car around to get the tires warm...then check the tire pressure. fill it to the max. this will help you handle a bit better around the turns. if you can..pick up some poly sway bar end link kits. this will stiffen up the suspenion a little bit. or if at all possible...get bigger sway bars. this will help out A LOT!!!!!

making sure your suspension is in check.... its a good thing. if you are running porsches..you obviously know that you wont be the quickest...but just remember. slow and steady, do not over drive the car. find your racing line..and stick to it. also if a faster car wants to pass, let them go. this will show the other drivers you have sportsmanship. it will give you a lot of repsect among fellow racers.

    hope this helps.
  2. I'm hitting the track at the end of the month, I'll be doing laps at Mosport - any advice on how to set the car up. I have OEM brakes, so I don't know how well they will handle the abuse... Maybe theres some tricks to keeping them cool you know. Maybe you also know a few other tricks you could help me out with. I'm going with my cousins Porsche club, so i don't see myself passing too many people, but I don't want to look bad either.... Anything would help. Thanks very much
