    READY TO SHIP!!!!

    If you have:
    3" DP
97-03 or 04+ Special Edition hood
2.25" intercooler and fuel lines going over the top still and will not change them

You may only be able to fit a half set, BUT I haven't had a report of only a half set fitting in about 5 years so I still recommend ordering the full set.

Pictures of the prototype set and current version can be seen here:

    Cool.

Just be sure to put which forum you are from and your username in the paypal comments.

If you are from the "other", forum PM me on there since it's where I keep all my info stored as to who has bought and who is interested.

Only sucks that the studs from the motor mounts are so short. I wonder if you could incorporate a thread on stud extender, which would also increase the O.D. of the stud and you could run a larger nut. That would be a good side effect to benefit you even more.

Idea to consider for a revised set in the future.

That is a good suggestion. I'll start looking into that one.

    Thanks for the feedback.

I was thinking about this today, and persionally how I would add for the longer threaded part, would be to add a threaded stud on the end of it. It would screw onto the stock motor mount studs, and then have a bolt hole on the other end, then instead of using a nut to attach the mount to the bracket, you would use a high quality bolt.

Think of it like a "peg" we used to all run back in the day on our BMX bikes so we could haul our friends around on the back. But smaller of course.

I am planning on lowering 1.7 with the intrax springs. Would these be a good idea even though im going lower than 1.5 which you stated in the clubgp post was the apprx these are good for. Or should i be looking at shortened dogbones and poly mounts?

No, these will still work better then those 2. It's not that the dopbbones work better at lower drops, its that NONE of the solutions can handly drops of 2+ inches from bagging the car.

But mine are our of stock for a few months. I'll change this post to reflect all updates.

I spoke with my buddy at the shop today. He's getting a quote for me ASAP.

ZZPs are dangerous. They are too thick for the studs on the stock mounts. Mine are thinner but go on top and bottom so they give you a greater lift.

I have SSC springs, MPD F1 hood, 2.25" IC with ZZP fuel logs and Pacesetter headers... Will I have to cut into my MPD hood after installing these or worry about my pacesetters hitting the firewall? Might be a trial and error thing anyway...

The best way it to put a piece of 3/4" plywood about the size of the blower on top of the engine and see if the hood closes.
