    My '93 Lumina has a pretty bad vibration only when turning right. I can definitely feel it coming from the left front wheel. Not really noticable at low speeds, only and higher speeds. Most noticable, say for instance, when I'm changing lanes on the highway from the left lane to the right lane. Feels like something is loose and causing the wheel to wobble.

    Here's what I've done so far...
    Completely rebuilt the axle shaft on that side.
    Replaced the Hub Assembly
    Visually checked everything and found to be okay.
    Physically checked for anything loose and can find no play in anything so far.

    Any ideas?

    The tranny mount is on the left side, but I dont see that causing that issue. The only other thing that popped in my head would be something wrong with the tire itself. Obviously the quick way to prove whether or not that is the case is to swap the tire to the other side and see if the issue follows.

    As Scotty suggested swapping that tire with a different one will rule out if that is causing part of your problem. Something else to check closely is the outer tie rod end on that side. Also check the ball joint. The best way to check both of these is by putting the jack out as far as possible on the control arm so it is just about touching the tire and then jack the car up until the tire is off the ground. This will load the suspension and also put things where they are while driving. With load on the suspsension there is also load on the lower ball joint and you need to try to grab the tire's top and bottom and try to rock it in and out, and also try to rock it side to side to see if you feel an slop.

    Thanks guys! I will give both ideas a try. It's very annoying, so I'm willing to try about anything.

    Well, being 60* today, I finally got around to working on this. Swapped the tires first, no change. Then I jacked the car up and nothing felt loose just as last time. Then I took Dave's advise and jacked up the suspension to load it as it would be normally and sure enough, loose as a goose. Turned out to be a $20 tie rod end. Thanks for the advise guys.
