Thats expensive (if thats USD)! I don't know what shipping to canada would be but check out the kits at DDMtuning.com

Even shipped to you they should be less than that and a lot of people on ClubGP are raving about their HIDs.

If only they knew what the exchange rate was...

Consider you'd have to ship it here then pay duty and brokerage on it. It just might be a good deal.

yup, if you ship UPS they always charge a ****load for brokerage. I bought a TB for another Mustang I had a few years ago From Georgia and UPS charged $75 just for brokerage.

If your ever getting anything shipped your best off FedEx or USPS

Fedex will charge you too... USPS or go home for me.

Costs the most up front, takes the longest and only makes one attempt at my door but I only have to walk down the street to pick it up.

I had a guy from toronto that installs them in Mazda 3. he did them for me a year ago. I can ask him if he could do them on the grandprix. Just check out the mazda3 toronto forum. This guy also does halos and a bunch of other stuff. I will contact him to see if he would be interested in doing some grand prix. Not to mention that because he does alot of cars he gets a pretty good deal on them.

To get back to you guys about the guy in the gta that does hid he is willing to do them on anycar. If you go to torontomazda3 and look for mcguyver or look at any of his post he does everyones cars in toronto. He does real good work from angel eyes to hid to hu. Not only does he do the work but you can meet him at meets and stuff and will do it on the spot. Really great guy. Oh his real name is DAN.

Just so you know he did my mazda 3. headrest monitors. Does great work.

Question is, what does he charge for the kit itself?

A better one would be, why would someone from wyoming go to toronto to have head rest monitors installed?

First i am from Wyoming Ontario. Just outside of London. I went to him for head rest monitors is because the local guys were charging about 250 per car. Had a van and car done. He charged me 200 for both. Also he came highly recommended and saw his work first hand. He works fast and good. Everything from wiring and clean up was clean. In most of the cars you cant even see the wires. When you go to a rice meet and see all his work you will be in aw. Its nice when you can see his work first hand.

Now as for price give him a call. I am not sure what mods have to be done and what kit you are looking at. most of the mazda guys get them for 120bucks. that includes relay harness. and 18month warranty. go take a look read what people have to say. Give him a shout he says do to winter months he is not that busy. there are a number of sponsors of that site that sell the hid kits.

VVME.com $65-$90 including shipping which is $20 for me in Barrie Ontario Canada and I think they might even do free shipping across the US. They have 3000k-15000k colours plus blue, green, pink, purple. Slim Digital ballest or normal ballest. They have kits with dual beam Hi/low in HID (9007). I have been buying and installing them for three years now from that site. I still have my first set of headlights and fogs from them and there still kickin. If a bulb does ever blow then buy another set for $15+shipping. They sell just the ballest to.

Free 1 year warranty or you can take there 2 year warranty for $15

I've bought more than a dozen kits from VVME for family/friends/customers and they're much better than other kits I've used in past. Less flicker on startup, have lasted several years now with few issues, good beam pattern (proper filament location). I get the slim 35watt kits in 4300k.

I may give ^^^ a try next time, I do like to buy local when possible. But no complaints about VVME.
