It and the door frame to the garage got into an argument and the mirror lost. Which goes to my point that if I wanted a structurally weakened part...I'd have glued what I have.
And yeah, NegativeOne13, I'm not saying UPS couldn't have tossed it around. But when I have shipped fragile things, they could have punted it clear across the shop and not hurt it. Now, I didn't expect that, but there was nothing protecting this part on its edges whatsoever.

I'll make things right. After cooling off a bit from the initial reaction I had from here I'll get it take care of for you Ryan. My mistake for not packaging it better and making it virtually bulletproof.

I've seen a 50" flat screen drop off a 15' high conveyer. It was already busted open before, but it was interesting. I've seen car hoods bent in a U shape. For anyone that reads this.... never.... ever.... ever.... ever.... write fragile or handle with care or whatever on the outside. Case closed. Paypal returned my money. Now to restart my search after 3 months more with a broken mirror.
NegativeOne13: I believe that for domestic packages for sure. Little story: I bought a bunch of crystal and china in russia not really thinking. The only thing I had to bring it home in was a leather duffel bag. I guess I either didn't think of or couldn't find something hard sided. And it was so big it had be be checked, not carry on. When I walked up to the British Airways counter, I told the girl what was in the bag. She said she'd mark it fragile. I said won't that just make them throw it farther. She replied sternly, no our guys are professionals. Ok, Ok. She put so many fragile stickers and tags on there it was almost comical. But despite only paper towel and newspaper keeping things apart and cushioned, everything made it from Moscow to London, and then to the US.
