i buy craftsmen because they are easy to get a hold of, decently priced and work well, i seriously abuse my tools, i have broken a few sockets, 2-3 ratchets and some universal joints, give me some snap on tools ill break them too, sure they might be a little better but is that $130 ratchet 6 times better then the $25 one? doubt it, your paying for a name, if you cant come to realize that then you fail at life

^ I have all sorts of different brands, they are all about even imho. My cheap-o screwdrivers are on par with my big name brand ones.

When you use tools to earn a living, your $25.00 ratchet won't make the grade. Ratchet quality isn't cheap and you get what you pay for. 20+ years in the automotive repair business has provided me with some wisdom on the subject. Fail at life...lol. Have a cheap a$$ ratchet snap and tear up your hand once and pay for that cheap a$$ ratchet in blood and lost wages. Do it enough times and the price for quality tools is well worth it. Keep using and breaking cheap tools is a fail at life
