There must be another job you can find to make use of these tools unless you don't want to anymore.

Its not that I dont want to, its more that bills are more important than my tools right nowe.

Dude...You're gonna be pissed if you sell all that stuff and find a job next month. I hate to see a man separate himself from his tools.

Dude, if this is your profession, how is selling your stuff gonna help with bills? Maybe this month it will, but 2-3 months down the road...

Do what you want, but I've always been a fan of never separating yourself from two things, your truck, and your tools.

What I did to get me through college was run an add for cheap mechanical work. After people got to know me, word of mouth took over and there was suddenly to much work. I did everything from the engine to body work. This kept me going until I graduated. If you're mechanically inclined I would make use of the talent...and you need your tools to do so!

Tools would be the last thing I would be selling. Last on my list, tools and car.

I don't know about where you live but I have a friend that works 100% off craigslist as a shade tree mobile mechanic and he charges both flat rates and his per hr is like $20 I think. He is busy all the time and it is cash money so you could be creative or silent on your income levels depending on your moral compass. That is quite a collection you are selling and could be hard to put it back together for the same amount of $ you are asking. Good luck with whatever you decide though.

    ^^Truth.

I did that, and mobile detailing when out of work a few years ago.

Don't be like me and sell all of your stuff, then regret it when life turns for the better a few months down the road and you kick yourself in the crotch for it.

i know of quite a few people who do mobile work, at the owners house or work. even know a guy who works on diesel trucks out of the back of his pick up truck.

a gas powered compressor is key, every one of them have one. air tools make life easy, but you know that already.

i wouldn't sell your tools, you never know whats around the corner.
