There's more I haven't mentioned for mods. but yeah.

I have GM ESI and can research airbag triggers etc. However it's likely the same. Therefore I'm willing to continue on to find another thing that may hold it up and research that later on.
I drink..so consider that when reading my posts.

One issue would be the lucerne airbag being dual stage which has 4 wires 2 for each inflator.
I could see it working on an 04 plus though since an airbag is an airbag as long as the computer detects the airbag present as long as you match dualstage bags with dual stage and single with single, etc.

Few years ago I had an 03 sunfire and swapped wheels with a 98 grand prix so I could have radio controls and leather wheel and the airbag worked well when the car got smashed.

Comes with leather (Rare) as an option but no controls. Another thing to look at is the steering shaft is a different diameter on the 97-03 grand prix during certain years. It changed then the steering wheel design changed. Im thinking around 2000 or 2001.

To do this on the 2003 sunfire to use the 99 grand prix wheel I had to swap my column with a 98 sunfire column that would accept the grand prix wheel because of the diameter of the shaft.
For the clock spring I think I got it from a grand am, forget the year though.
