EDIT: Dezebe also runs 37 mm front RAT bar, I'm not 100% if he has the addco bar but let's say he does... so wouldn't the balance of 37/22 be similar to the GMPP's 34(33?)/19 except the GMPP setup being less stiff due to less wheel rate but also having more grip since it's slightly softer? He runs star specs which are pretty much the best tires you can get that's street legal and 200 tw rating (the Ecsta XS I want is almost as good but I think the star specs got stiffer sidewall)... also have you thought about running WBS's rear lowering springs? They lower 1" exact and their spring rate is 230# compared to vogtland's 140#, I think the absolute perfect balance and perfect rotation might be with the 230# springs and 19 mm bar but again I'm noob and most people here know better
Yeah I changed my mind on that since someone pointed out the tire rotation goes out the window... so a square stance is probably best on the street where you have to worry about tire wear
Go all out!
Dorman front, Addco rear, Billstein coilovers, bmr or HT ta/lateral arms. I'm sure it'll handle well for a boat

And better order a Addco while you still can. Yea there's a wait but the longer and longer you wait the less likely that you'll find it offered anymore.

Think more positive man, our gp weighs 3500 lbs right? How much does the new Z06 weigh? 3500 lbs.... so our GP = C7 Z06 😂😂
Def will get an addco no doubt but since gmpp is available in junkyards for cheap might as well get one of those too
I ran Potenza RE960PP 245/45/18 for summer. I'm in CT/MA so I hear you on the rust issue. I do not believe GMPP are solid, however in 5 years and 100K I did not have a problem with rust.. actually I ripped a sway bar perch off a control arm and had to weld it back on. Likely that was a poor weld.
Potenzas😱? Fancyyyy, take it out on road courses once in a while and see what the car can do and watch the awe in people's faces... i wouldnt bother tight autox parking courses since they're too tight for such a large car, but I'm interested to see what your car can do in a nice wide road curvy and see what cars you're running with
Had means past tense.. see my sig for current car.
Ask ScottyDoggs or JRotton about how the car handled, I said it was good... but ask a third or fourth party. They were the ones crying like little girls.
Never took the car crossing. Pulled the motor at 204 when it hung a valve and dropped in a S3 NA. Sold the car in late April of this year with 260K on it. Plenty of people on here either drove it or rode in it. Struts/springs went on at 160 and were sold with it at 260, still felt good. JRotton took a ride right before I sold it, he can attest for how good/bad the combo felt at 100K
As for the Potenza's.. they are amazing.
Lol I'll take your word for it and I didn't realize you were writing in past tense the entire time lol, I assume your car oversteered with lift off throttle? Hence the crying like little girls?
That car was tight, you would never know it had that kind of mileage. In my limited time in the car, I was impressed and that is not easy. I have had lots of fast cars, more than most. I like cars that handle as I'm not a quarter mile guy. I drive a 2008 GP GXP now. And Bill's driving will scare anyone, he takes cars to the limit . I would believe him.
Here's the Addco for Dezebe1, You should check out his thread, lost of useful info on various things including suspension.

There is a bigger Addco bar than that bar, if still available. Its 25mm . It should work, I don't own it so purchase at your own risk

Definitely go with the (anti) sway bar upgrades that were mentioned above. I followed their advice and the handling improvement is fantastic.
Edit: well that's definitely legit.....and its for 98-08 impala so it is for our cars.... hmm I've never read of anyone running 2179, everyone always fights over the 22 mm aco639... this is really weird
