I have an 02 GTP and when I get to 38 to 45 mph my car starts to shake from the driver side tire. When I pass 45mph it stops until I get to 73mph. The outside of the tire on the driver side is almost bald but the rest of the tire is good. What could be causing this issue? I'm going to get a rotation and balance of tires today and see if that helps

If the outside of the tire is bald, you might want to have them check your alignment too... and ball joints.

get an alignment, also make sure they look the front end over. some thing could be real worn out.

those kill 3 birds at once. both bushings and the ball joint.

if you buy them on line the pair is just under a 100 bucks. they are pretty easy to change your self.

rockauto. partsgeek. advance auto on line. all run a little more for moog parts, those are like 55 to 60 iirc. shop around. google your car and lower control arms, a crap load of places will pop up.

I'm using rockauto right now and the ones that are 70 come with a gusher bearing. Is that really needed?

Is the rim really bent or is the tire just seperated??

If the front tire was bald on the outside, and you moved it to another spot and it followed then the tire is junk. And most likely something(s) are worn out on the front end, be it LCA, ball joint, tie rod, or the alignment is way off. I'd bet the tire you just moved to the front is going to have a similar fate.
