I finally decided on getting the ZZP rear trailing arms after spending way to much time going back and forth... ZZP, BMR or just get the Dormans and save some $. I went with ZZP since they were chrome moly and I figured they would weigh less and be stronger than the others. I couldn't find much info on the ZZPs in comparison to the others and it seemed that most here were either using the BMR ones, GMPP or the Dormans. So I figured I would share my opinion on the ZZPs.

I used GM "Special High Temperature Lubricate" (actual name on label) part # 12345879 to lubricate the poly bushings and bolt sleeves. This is great suspension\bushing lubricate, but expensive. I got the part number from a bulletin for some bushing squeak on either a Malibu or Impala, ordered it and keep it in my toolbox. We were always fighting squeaks and rattles on those cars in the early and mid 2000s.

Anyway the car feels way better, much tighter and stable in the turns. And I didn't weigh them, but did feel them in comparison to the stock ones and they may have even been lighter at least they didn't weight more, which I was afraid the BMRs would since they were mild steel. I was very happy with the welds and quality of the powdercoating on them and would highly recommend them to anyone looking to upgrade.

From what I've read online, ZZP's chromoly trailing arms should be checked at least once a year for cracks

Thanks for the heads up. I will inspect them regularly and if any cracks develop I'll update this thread with a pic. For now I sure plan on enjoying them on these curvy mountain roads I call home.
