Hey everyone. I'm getting ready to replace all four struts on my 05 Grand prix but i'm stuck on new springs. I'm going to run the KYB Excel G's for all four but i want to get stiffer springs as well instead of new stock ones. What would everyone recommend i check out? Thanks.

97-03 spec SSC/Canuk springs if you want to lower.

Impala police springs if you want a stock ride height

Will 97-03 lowering springs work on the 04-08 body style?

Nope reds a coke dealer not a spring dealer.
Cannuck motorsports will have them. Google them it'll be cheaper than zzp even with shipping.

Sort of.. What's on there currently are the DNA springs that are advertised as 97-03. 97-03 and 04-08 parts are mostly compatible as far as motor and suspension wise.

SSC or Vogtlands would be your best choice unless you go the coilovers route.

I have 04-08 SSCs on my compg...the 97-03 don't lower the rear as much.
If I would do it over, I would order the 97-03s. They would make the fender wheel gap, front and back, more even.
It isn't to bad with the 04-08s but after awhile the look will get to you, with the rear appearing to low.

I would think Overkill has seen a fair number both ways.
