I've got the F-Body brakes, and its definitely more than enough, unless you're just a fatass and keep the car rolling

Dpends which kit you go with. Mine are only 2 pistons; I couldn't imagine having another 2.

I just wanted to add my two cents to say that you'll be fine with the F-Body brakes with SS lines. I've autocrossed and roadraced with that setup and they work fine.

F-body Rotors, calipers, brackets, and then tap the holes out that hold the caliper on and your good to go.

well I need breaks anyway so I guess there's no reason to replace when there are upgrades. can you use the large impala rotors? I already have a set of them. isn't the bolt pattern different for the F-body rotors? I thought it was 5x4.75 and the GP was 5x4.5?

W body and F body share rotors. The holes are large enough to fit both bolt patterns.

Yes. Impala/Monte rotors are the same as the F-body rotors.

Should. Several Impala owners run with F-body brakes and stock 16" wheels. The 13" rotor upgrade requires larger rims, not the F-body (which uses a 12" rotor) upgrade.

hey if you're running 17" or larger rotors year round i have a set of GXP front calipers brackets rotors and pads. im selling. Its a 12.7" rotor with a dual piston caliper. Bolt straight up so no modification needed. all youd need to get is new lines.
